Asbestos

According to the United States Environmental protection Agency, Asbestos is a mineral fiber that occurs in  rock and soil.  It is commonly found in building materials such as: vinyl floor tiles, vinyl sheet flooring and adhesives. Asbestos containing materials (ACM), may also include textured paint, patching compounds, insulation , ducts and wraps, and roofing  materials.
Although the material was of great use for heat resistant building materials, it was found that people exposed to asbestos suffered health complications.
Today, we know that exposure to asbestos is a leading cause of Asbestosis, a lung disease resulting from the inhalation of asbestos particles, marked by severe fibrosis and a high risk of mesothelioma (cancer of the pleura).
This is why any time you are dealing with a damaged building  and demolition is required, asbestos has to be taken into serious consideration.

With sixteen years of  experience in the residential and commercial restoration industry, we have had the opportunity to learn how to best serve our customers needs. Understanding the importance of asbestos and finding that is was prevalent in many of our jobs only helped solidify our decision to include it as part of our services. Being a certified Asbestos Abatement company saves customers the hassle of having to hire an additional vendor.

We are thrilled to mark our seventh year as being one of the few SERVPRO franchises that is an certified
